Patricia Ruffin is a distinguished artist known for her versatile talent across a wide range of mediums, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, and chalk. Her work spans styles from contemporary and modernism to realism, portraiture, and abstract art, showcasing her unique ability to blend technique with expressive depth. Art has always come naturally to Patricia, who began her journey in a small studio space in her basement in 2020. As her skill evolved, she transitioned into a dedicated studio, where she honed a style deeply influenced by her favorite artists, Jackson Pollock and Jacob Lawrence. Their groundbreaking work inspired Patricia to fully pursue her vision of becoming a recognized artist.

Artist Statement
In 2024, Patricia joined Hot Shops Art Center, gaining a persona studio space to create and display her evolving bodies of work. Beyond creating, she is passionate about teaching art classes, sharing her knowledge, and inspiring others. Patricia’s goal is to have her work seen and appreciated, inviting viewers to connect with the depth and detail in every piece she creates.
