Come have some fun! In this class you will learn the basic skills of silversmithing to create a bezel set oval stone ring with a wide band. For this project, you may choose to create a tapered band or add a hammered texture to your band. You will learn how to use a jeweler’s saw and the basic sawing techniques. In addition, you will learn to shape, solder, file silver and set a stone while creating this ring. Feel free to bring a notebook as note taking is encouraged.
