Draft and Sew a Skirt

An intermediate sewing class.

I will assume that you know how to use a sewing machine. If you have taken my Learn to Sew class and or my make a dress class – you are ready to draft a pattern and sew your own skirt!

During this class you will learn how to measure yourself, drafting a pattern using your measurements to make an A-line skirt pattern and sew the skirt. The sewing the skirt will include skills such as inserting a waistband, sewing darts and inserting a zipper.

This class is the perfect entry into sewing your own clothing and drafting simple patterns.

This class is held for 4 hours on three afternoons:
Sunday, September 10 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Sunday, September 17 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Sunday, September 24 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

There are 4 spots available in the class.

*The cost of this class does not include the cost of the fabric and notions. I will send an email with the information on what to bring to class prior to the start of class.

*You may bring your own sewing machine, or use one from the studio

There are no refunds on this class. Email Cindi prior to the class being held you are unable to come and you can transfer your place to another date of the same class.
