Greg Macdonald has been carving original Holiday Folk Art for over 30 years.
Wood carving is an age-old art form that involves the skillful shaping of wood into intricate designs. It is a craft that combines creativity with precision, as artisans use a variety of specialized tools such as chisels, gouges, and knives to remove layers of wood.
Greg draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, including nature, mythology, and cultural traditions. Some of his favorite pieces include his Wood Spirits, Halloween characters, Santas and more.
Greg will be in the Heartland of America Park demonstrating this art-form on Friday, Oct. 20 from 1-3 p.m.
Future exhibits and shows are announced all the time.
Please stay tuned.
