Art has always been a part of my life - both the history and the creative side.
I am largely self taught but have studied with artists in Baltimore, St. Louis and Omaha as well as participated in many workshops. I have studied in many mediums including oil, pottery, welding and bronze casting. I am an active docent at Omaha’s Joslyn Art Museum and have taught art to English as a Second Language students.
My art has been in several venues in St. Louis and Omaha, including the Bemis Art Auction, the Jewish Community Center, The Hot Shops, Lauritzen Gardens, Gallery 1516 and Gallery 92 in Fremont, NE.
I have curated or helped curate several shows including the 65 Plus Show at Gallery 1516, the Joslyn Docents’ art show which hung at the Joslyn Art Museum and a show for the members of the Nebraska Chapter of the National Portrait Society.
I am a member of the National Portrait Society, Omaha Artists Inc., the Fremont Art Association and the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs.
