This is an intermediate class. Students will learn to create marbles and off mandrel work taught by Chris Haussler of Pixybug Designs. Chris will cover dichroic vortex marbles, using the kiln to heat pieces for pick up or to garage them for multiple part assembly, and a multi layered marble.

Clear, black & dichro glass will be supplied.
A limited number of torches are available. Students can bring their torches as long as they have quick connects.

About Chris:
Chris began his journey in lampworking glass and his world changed forever! He began teaching himself to make marbles in 2009 and enjoys creating miniature sculptures, beads, buttons, small blown glass vessels, and cabochons. Chris has had his glass work published in The Flow Magazine and Soda Lime Times, and has written glass working tutorials published in Soda Lime Times.
