I'm Pamela Martínez Oquendo, an Omaha, Nebraska-based artist and the creator behind these whimsical paintings of animals and flowers. My lifelong fascination with art, sparked in vibrant Puerto Rico, took a new turn in 2021 when I began painting. My artistic perspective is uniquely informed by my Bachelor's in Biology (wildlife focus) and graduate degree in Program Evaluation (science education); this scientific lens fuels my profound appreciation for the environment. I hope to share this wonder and inspire stewardship for our natural world through my art.
