The objective of my work is to make the viewer happy, with a sense of freedom, curiosity and wonderment. I enjoy painting what I know, kids, animals, nature, colors, and experiences. My work is intimate because of that knowledge. The strong colors, textures, and subject matter, give a sense of atmosphere and fun. I work mainly with acrylic paints but also enjoy oils, pastels, mixed media, and collage. Another goal in my work, is to, “tickle the eye”, by periodically incorporating actual puzzle pieces into the painting.
I hold private and group sessions for any age, corporate team building and enjoy collaborative creations with schools and institutions and art therapy for people with disabilities. I always say, “If you’re not having fun, you’d better get a different brush!”
